When you visit the Cryptaine website and, more generally, when you use any of the Cryptaine websites (the Site and/or our products and services (the “Services”), Cryptaine may request certain information from you. PI Cryptaine or our service providers may collect from you
For information purposes only and not for advice, please always seek independent advice. PI is information about an individual that can be used either alone or with other sources of information to identify that individual. PI does not include information where the identity of the individual or the specific details of the information have been removed and are therefore anonymous. Sensitive Personal Information (SPI) is a subcategory of PI that includes PI about race or ethnicity, religious or philosophical beliefs, sex life, sexual orientation, political opinions, trade union membership, information about health, and genetic and biometric data, none of which is collected by Cryptaine .
The nature of the information that Cryptaine or our service providers may collect depends on the products and services that Cryptaine provides and the relationship between Cryptaine and you. The PII that may be processed by Cryptaine is categorised as follows (the PII listed for each category are non-exhaustive examples)
- Identification data – full name, title, date of birth
- Contact details – personal address, telephone number, email address
- Electronic monitoring data – To the extent permitted by law, Cryptaine my record and monitor your electronic communications with Cryptaine.
- Financial information – bank account number and details; credit card number and details
- Marketing and communication data – marketing and communication preferences; tracking data relating to whether you have read marketing communications from Cryptaine (see also our cookies policy).
- Professional information data – position/job title, work address; telephone number; email address, sector and area
- Profile data – username and password for our online services to which you have access; services requested; marketing communications responded to; survey responses
- Service data – payment details to and from you; details of services you have provided to Cryptaine and Cryptaine has provided to you
- Product data – details of the products you have used, purchased, interacted with and the ways in which you have interacted with our products.
- Website data – all interactions and data usage or uploads on or with our website.

professional advisors, third parties, agents or independent contractors who provide services to Cryptaine (including but not limited to: legal representatives, professional advisors, consultants, contractors, parts suppliers, service suppliers, third party agencies and individuals), which includes their professional advisors, third parties, agents, independent contractors who provide services to them (such as IT system providers, payment service providers, platform providers, financial advisors, payment processors, brokers, consultants (including legal representatives and accountants))
Providers of goods and services (such as providers of marketing services to whom Cryptaine is permitted to disclose your personal information); payment processors, intermediaries, brokers and other individuals and entities that partner with Cryptaine;
Competent authorities (including any national and/or international regulatory or enforcement body, agency, court or other form of tribunal or tax authority) or their agents where Cryptaine is required or permitted to do so under applicable law or regulation;

MARKETING AND EXERCISING YOUR RIGHT TO OPT OUT MARKETING
Cryptaine will not process your PII for marketing purposes if you have informed Cryptaine that you do not wish to receive marketing materials. You may request that Cryptaine stop processing your PII for marketing purposes at any time by clicking on the marketing opt-out links in any electronic marketing materials sent to you by Cryptaine (unsubscribe) and/or by using the contact details provided in the “Contacting Cryptaine” section of this Privacy Policy.
THIRD PARTY MARKETING/SALE OF PIV
Cryptaine does not share or sell your PII to third parties for their use for their own marketing or other purposes.
RETENTION OF PI
Cryptaine will process your PI for as long as is necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected, including the provision of the Site, products and services, until you opt-out or until Cryptaine has fulfilled its obligations, such as to comply with legal, regulatory, accounting, auditing, reporting or internal policy requirements, or to establish or defend legal claims.
PI SECURITY
Cryptaine may use a range of physical, electronic and managerial measures to ensure a level of security commensurate with the risk of PI processing. These measures may include some or all of the following
Education and training of relevant staff to ensure that they are aware of Cryptaine’s privacy obligations when processing PI, as well as training on social engineering, phishing, spear phishing and password risks;
The ability to ensure the ongoing confidentiality, integrity, availability and resilience of processing systems and services;
The ability to restore availability and access to PI in a timely manner in the event of a physical or technical incident;
Administrative and technical controls to restrict access to and processing of PI;
technological security measures, including firewalls, encryption and anti-virus software;
Segregation of networks and back-up facilities;
Application security;
Endpoint security;
real-time monitoring of data leakage controls;
layered and comprehensive cybersecurity defences; and
Security incident reporting and management.
The security of data transmitted over the Internet (including by email) cannot be guaranteed and there is a risk of access and interception by third parties. Cryptaine endeavours to protect personal information, but cannot guarantee the security of data transmitted to or by Cryptaine.
YOUR RIGHTS
In certain circumstances, you may have the following rights in relation to the processing of your personal information:
Access: To request a copy of Cryptaine’s processing of your PI and to be informed of how Cryptaine uses and (where applicable) discloses your PI, subject to any legal and regulatory obligations.
Object: To object to the processing of your PI where (i) Cryptaine is processing your PI on the grounds of legitimate interests or for the performance of a task in the public interest (including profiling); or (ii) where Cryptaine is processing your PI for direct marketing purposes.
Correction: To ask Cryptaine to update the PI it processes in relation to you, or to correct PI that you believe to be inaccurate or incomplete.
Deletion: To ask Cryptaine to delete PI that Cryptaine processes in relation to you where Cryptaine has no legal or regulatory obligation or other valid reason to continue to process or retain it.
Restriction: To ask Cryptaine to restrict the way in which Cryptaine processes your PI, for example where you dispute the accuracy of your PI or have raised an objection that is being considered.
Portability: To request a copy of your PI that you have provided to Cryptaine in a commonly used electronic format, such as by completing an application form.
Automated decision making: To request manual intervention if you are the subject of automated decisions where the decision results in legal or similar effects for you.
You may exercise your rights at any time using the details set out in the Contacting Cryptaine section. To the extent permitted by applicable law or regulation, Cryptaine reserves the right to charge a reasonable fee in connection with the exercise of your rights.
Cryptaine may need to request certain information from you to enable Cryptaine to confirm your identity and to ensure your right to access the requested PI or to exercise your other rights. This is to ensure that PI is not disclosed to persons who are not authorised to receive it. Cryptaine may also request further information in relation to your request to help Cryptaine locate the PI processed in relation to you, including, for example, the nature of your relationship with Cryptaine.
Cryptaine aims to respond to all legitimate requests within one calendar month. If Cryptaine believes that it may take longer than one calendar month (for example, if your request is particularly complex or you have made a number of requests), Cryptaine will notify you and keep you informed. You will not be disadvantaged in any way by exercising your rights in relation to the processing of your PI.
